❓ FAQs
How do I play Pirate Card Battle?
Each of the 8 rounds you tap one card from your hand while the pirate plays one too. The higher number wins the treasure gem — grab 5 gems to plunder the chest!
What happens when the numbers tie?
Suits break ties in a circle: Sword beats Parrot, Parrot beats Coin, Coin beats Anchor, Anchor beats Sword. Opposite suits that cancel each other end in a draw with no gem.
How many cards do I get?
Both sides are dealt 8 cards from a 40-card deck (4 suits, numbers 1–10) — one card is played each round, so every round is a fresh decision.
How is the score counted?
Win = 100 + 10 per gem. A drawn war = 50. Losing still earns 25 + 5 per gem you managed to capture.
Is Pirate Card Battle free?
Yes — free in your browser on phone, tablet, laptop or Chromebook. No download, no signup, unlimited duels.
