Child Safety & Digital Wellbeing
Protecting Children in the Digital Classroom and at Home
At Child Pathshala, protecting the safety, privacy, and developmental wellbeing of young learners is our highest institutional priority. We design our worksheets, digital tools, and educational activities specifically for children in foundational learning stages (Ages 3–12), with strict protections to ensure that learning remains wholesome, private, and distraction-free.
1. Zero Third-Party Advertising & No Commercial Traps
Child Pathshala does not display third-party advertisements or programmatic ad network banners anywhere on our educational platform. Children are never exposed to targeted behavioral ads, sponsored affiliate promotions, or deceptive click-traps.
2. Strict No-Tracking Policy for Children
- No Biometric or Voice Profiling: We do not capture, analyze, or record children's voices, facial biometrics, or behavioral psychometrics.
- Local-First Game State: Educational games and interactive activities store scores and level progression in the parent's local browser (localStorage) by default. Young children are never required to provide phone numbers, personal emails, or home addresses to play or save scores.
- Child Nicknames Only: Any optional score entry accepts friendly first-name nicknames (e.g., "Aarav S.") to celebrate achievements without storing personally identifiable information.
3. Screen-Free Physical Learning First
We are a pencil-and-paper worksheet publisher first. While we leverage technology to organize and generate curriculum resources, our core mission is to empower children to spend less time glued to screens and more time engaging fine motor skills, spatial reasoning, and pencil-grip stamina on tactile physical paper.
4. Parental & Educator Governance
All subscription purchases, store orders, and account registrations must be conducted by an adult parent, legal guardian, or educator aged 18 or older. Minors are strictly prohibited from entering into financial transactions or submitting payment credentials.
5. Compliance with Global Child Safety Standards
Our child data protection practices comply with the Indian Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA 2023) regarding children's data, the United States Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and global digital safety guidelines.
