What do stars and hearts do?
Golden stars are worth a big 100-point bonus. Pink hearts give +1 extra life, up to a maximum of 5.
What happens when a balloon escapes?
Every red, blue, green or yellow balloon that drifts off the top of the screen costs one life. Lose all 3 starting lives and the run ends.
How does the combo multiplier work?
Pop balloons quickly in a row to build a combo. The multiplier grows from ×1 up to ×5 — bombs and escapes reset it, so pop carefully!
