The Child Pathshala Story: Screen-Free Learning That Actually Works
Child Pathshala was founded in Gurgaon, Haryana, India by Anand Kumar (Educational Technologist & Parent) and Shalni Kumari (Early Childhood Educator). Like millions of parents, we watched our own children get trapped in endless passive screen loops — tapping tablets, watching autoplay videos, and losing the patience required for sustained, thoughtful problem-solving.
When we looked online for printable worksheets, we were disappointed: most websites either locked basic practice sheets behind aggressive recurring subscriptions, buried downloads under deceptive ads, or provided low-resolution scanned pages with tiny, unreadable fonts and cramped margins.
We believed children deserved better: clean, beautifully typeset, curriculum-aligned printables that turn off the screen and turn on real, tactile brain growth.
✏️ Tested on Real Paper First
Every worksheet in our 14,900+ library is printed on regular 75 GSM A4 paper and tested at our dining table with actual HB pencils, crayons, and erasers. If line spacing causes finger cramps or page margins get cut off by standard home printers, we redesign it.
🧠 Error-Tolerant Learning
We don't believe in high-stress rote testing. Our activity sheets and procedural engines use progressive difficulty ladders: children start with concrete visual anchors, gain confidence with guided examples, and transition naturally to independent problem-solving.
